Shepherds & Sheeple Exposing the naked truth of politics

Two Legs Good!

Up at the podium, a wolf in a suit sweats under the spotlight and delivers the week's slogan. Down in the field, a perfect herd of blank-faced sheep is already printing it on banners. We draw both sides of the farm — the herders and the herd.

A wolf above a red line and a herd of sheep below — the two sides of the farm

The Concept

It's both. The herders and the herd.

Named for the sheep of George Orwell's Animal Farm — but we don't just pick on the figures at the top. Every issue draws the Panel Above, the wolves who write the slogans, and the Panel Below, the sheeple who chant them without thinking. The message isn't who's to blame. It's who's believing what, and why nobody's asking why.

Strip-searching the wolves in charge. Waking up the sheep in the herd.
